Sustainable Tourism Foundation Pakistan (STFP) was established in 2008 as a non-profit and non-political organization by a group of eminent professionals from the tourism industry as well as environmentalists to promote Sustainable Tourism in Pakistan. The foundation is registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860. STFP is also member of Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) and The International Ecotourism Society.
STFP mission is to promote and facilitate the growth of sustainable and equitable tourism in Pakistan in close partnership with concerned stakeholders from public, private and NGO sectors. The foundation is working closely with public and private sector stakeholders at national, regional and international level to facilitate and promotion the exchange of knowledge, experiences and ideas on best practices of sustainable tourism.
